Job Description
Remote is seeking an experienced Cross Domain Solution Specialist to join the team at ASD. The successful candidate will design, implement and sustain secure, scalable cross-domain solutions within a complex ICT environment, while providing technical leadership and ongoing support for existing capabilities. The role requires strong Linux infrastructure expertise, including system monitoring, authentication, patching and reliability management, together with experience using automation and version-control tools such as Ansible, Python, Bash and Git to develop repeatable system builds and automate cross-domain processes. Role Description
Key duties and responsibilities

Design and implement cross-domain IT solutions that are scalable, secure and complaint to meet business requirements and align with organisational strategic goals.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate into technical requirements.

Manage relationships with vendors to ensure effective implementation and support.

Maintain technical documentation in accordance with industry standards
Essential criteria
-
Demonstrated experience in configuration and sustainment of Linux based ICT infrastructure including servers and/or network devices, system monitoring and authentication services.

Demonstrated experience in design and delivery of be-spoke CDS whilst providing BAU support to existing CDSs.

Demonstrated experience in using automation tools such as Ansible and others to prepare and replicate system builds.

Demonstrated experience in maintaining reliability of ICT infrastructure. This includes configuration automation, upgrading and patching, monitoring, along with utilising version control systems.
Desirable criteria

Experience developing scripts or small programs, in software languages such as Python or Bash; to automate CDS processes and integrate existing security tool and appliances.
