Test Analyst (PROJ-4844)
Job Description
Remote is seeking a Test Analyst to join the team at ASD. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand risks, impacts and acceptance criteria, while collaborating with development teams to assess system architecture, integrations, constraints and downstream impacts of change.
The role will lead and coordinate testing activities across new features, enhancements and defect fixes, including test strategy and planning, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing and defect management. The Senior Test Analyst will also ensure strong traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria and test outcomes, and produce high-quality test artefacts and reporting. (LH-08159)
Role Description
Key duties and responsibilities

Liaise with key stakeholders to understand business risks and impacts; and to define clear, measurable acceptance criteria for new or enhanced software features.

Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture, integrations, constraints, infrastructure, risks and downstream impacts of change.

Design, maintain and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans and test cases; including regression testing to ensure ongoing system stability and quality.

Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing for new features, enhancements and defect fixes.

Manage defect identification, analysis, logging, prioritisation and verification of fixes through re-testing.

Ensure full traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and test cases.

Select, apply and document appropriate test techniques and methodologies to support effective test coverage.

Produce and maintain high quality test artefacts; including test plans, report and metrics.

Ensures acceptance criteria and definition of done are clearly understood, agreed, documented and met.

Leads and coordinates testing activities by allocating work and resources, setting priorities, developing test strategies and evaluating testing outcomes against business objectives.
Essential criteria

Demonstrated experience working as a Senior Test Analyst in complex delivery environments, supported by relevant industry certifications (e.g. ISTQB) or equivalent practical experience

Proven proficiency with test and work management tools, including Jira and Confluence, with hands‑on experience managing defects through their full lifecycle

Strong understanding of cloud‑based environments and system integration concepts, including dependencies and downstream impacts of change

Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex technical and testing information to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
