With nearly a decade of experience in Defence and intelligence, Bec has worked in a diverse range of roles spanning analysis, international engagement, mission management, and corporate enabling functions to contribute to the government’s complex strategic priorities. She is passionate about people and prioritises building strong relationships with a caring and empathetic approach.
Off the clock, Bec is trying new foodie spots, surviving hot mat Pilates, walking her cat, and aspiring to match her sister’s annual reading goals.
Since 2011, Drew has worked in various roles in the military, public service and private industry. His time working in project management developed a deep understanding of stakeholder management and a thorough enjoyment of engaging with people across multiple levels of a program. Drew is leading Remote’s expansion into QLD, with his knowledge of national security considerations providing invaluable insights to QLD-based clients.
Outside of work, he enjoys running and spending time with family.
Before joining Remote, Tom Tran spent almost a decade in intelligence working across geospatial analysis, executive support, modernising analytic tools, and delivering Defence major projects. Tom is at his best when working with people. Whether supporting consultants, clients or colleagues, he focuses on building trust, understanding what matters to others, and creating outcomes that work for everyone.
When he’s not catching up with people over coffee, Tom is usually out hitting his daily step goal or keeping up with pop culture.
Throughout her career, Rae Knight has worked with both international and local law firms, health funds, medical facilities, and Commonwealth departments. At Remote, Rae uses that depth of experience to make sure our contractors and internal team get the support they need, when they need it.
Whether she’s responding to queries, liaising with Commonwealth agencies, or keeping us aligned with compliance requirements, Rae is all about making things easy for people. She’s known for being approachable, reliable, and genuinely invested in creating a smooth experience for everyone she works with.
Originally from Canberra, Rae loves spending time outdoors: gardening, reading in the sun, and enjoying the quieter moments.

Kate Dyce has been involved in ICT capability development and support, project and program management, and team leadership in Defence and National Security settings since 2006.
She has proven skills in the use of PRINCE and Agile methods for leading and delivering complex ICT projects involving infrastructure, data storage and processing and intelligence analysis applications.
Kate has a long history of effective stakeholder engagement, including representation to senior leadership, industry, NIC and overseas partners.
Kate’s role as Operations Manager includes the coordination of Remote’s services to Commonwealth and Commercial clients. She is responsible for ensuring Remote’s services match the requirements of our clients as well as the provision of support and mentoring to Remote’s consultants.
Much of Remote’s day‑to‑day rhythm runs through Casey, from incoming opportunities to consultant placements and delivery support. She brings clarity, pace, and consistency to a fast‑moving consulting environment.
In many ways, the company moves to Casey’s beat…which is exactly how she likes it!
Daniel Flynn‘s career spans distinguished military service and consulting for the national intelligence community, giving him a unique perspective on leadership, resilience, and strategic operations.
Before stepping into his current role, Daniel served as Account Manager at Remote, where he focused on building strong client relationships and delivering practical solutions tailored to complex challenges. His dedication and performance have been recognised with multiple honours, including the Commendation for Distinguished Service from the Australian Defence Force for his leadership during warlike operations.
Daniel is passionate about fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and ensuring Remote continues to deliver exceptional results. Outside of work, he values continuous learning and enjoys enabling teams to reach their full potential.
Susan Trinh has worked at the forefront of Australia’s intelligence and cyber security environment, delivering and operating critical capabilities, and advising across complex programs and governance functions.
After working client-side for a number of years, she joined Remote’s leadership team where she combines deep operational insights with commercial and governance expertise to oversee the full breadth of Remote’s business operations.
Known for her warm, approachable style, Susan builds environments where people feel safe and respected. She is highly hands-on, with a reputation for getting stuck in wherever needed to achieve meaningful outcomes.
