Job Description

Remote is seeking a Training Designer and Developer to support ASD in uplifting education and increase awareness of the ASD Emanation Security policy, guidance and subject matter. (LH-02067)

Role Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, development and delivery of a variety of professional learning experiences, materials, briefings, group presentations, and instruction to educate and uplift awareness of Emanation Security.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities to perform user/client research and establish requirements for provision of e-learning and face-to-face learning solutions.
  • Engage with subject matter experts to develop knowledge base for learning, and build learning packages to enable communication of complex technical information to a wider audience to build on professional skillsets.
  • Establish learning pathways to further enable learning journeys for varying levels of understanding.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

Essential

  • At least 5 years’ experience in training development.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in a range of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience in information security systems associated policy/guidance.
  • Understanding of RF/Technical risk in the Emanation Security space.

Criteria:

  • TMCR 4 - Specifies the content and structure of learning and development materials. Takes responsibility for design, creation, packaging and maintenance and manages development to deliver agreed outcomes. Where required, designs, configures and tests learning environments. Secures external accreditations as appropriate.
  • HCEV 4 - Selects appropriate tools, methods and design patterns to design user interactions with and experiences of a product, system or service. Translates concepts into outputs and prototypes and captures user feedback or evaluation to improve designs. Evaluates alternative design options and recommends designs taking into account performance, security, usability and accessibility requirements. Interprets and follows visual design and branding guidelines to create a consistent and impactful user experience.
  • ETMG 4 - Contributes to the development and maintenance of a catalogue of learning and development resources. Uses data to analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of learning/educational activities. Books and organises learning events. Updates and controls training records, including attainment of certificates and accreditations.
