Job Description
This is an opportunity within Defence supporting the Insider Threat and Investigative Support (ITIS) Directorate within Joint Capabilities Group (JCG). They are generating a bespoke solution that collects, transports, normalises and presents audit logging events from security applications. (ITIS-JCG EY Tender)
Role Description
- Extensive ICT Security knowledge and technical skills in relation to audit logging collection, normalisation and policy.
- Database administration experience including Elasticsearch.
- Experience with configuration and management of VMWare vSphere and/or Hyper-V virtualisation environments.
- Experience with network attached storage appliances including NetApp systems.
- Network infrastructure configuration including firewall and switch management.
- Security application sustainment support experience including Nuix, Splunk or Stroom.
- Extensive experience with ICT system administration and development to provide SME advice and support to ITIS analysts and management.
- Red Hat Linux, Kubernetes, Docker experience is also desirable.
- Create, maintain and upgrade governance documentation suites relating to data, application, system and security administration.
