Data Manager (PROJ-4276)

Key duties and responsibilities

• Responsible to the DFC COPMAN for ADF DFC data base operations
• Manage COP and Tactical Data Link (TDL) interface systems in the DFC as per direction of the ADF JDNO and the DFC COPMAN
• Operate and manage COP systems and applications while monitoring communications, track data flow, and overall functioning of the database
• Maintain COP configuration
• Manage COP Synchronisation Tool (CST) connectivity and required network channels for the distribution of COP Data
• Execute ADF COP Track Data Base Management IAW OPTASK COP and SOPs
• Produce DFC products for HQJOC COP users, ADF JDNO and JOC Senior Leadership
• Manage the input and update of Air Tasking Orders and overlays as directed
• Facilitate COP visualisation on the JOR display
• Coordinate with TDL Manager on any TDL track Management issues
• Troubleshoot any COP system and architecture connectivity issues
• Support associated Briefing materials as directed

Technical skills:

• Previous experience with COP/CTP/JDN operations and GCCS COP system user is highly regarded.
