Job Description

Remote is seeking a Change Support Officer to join the team in ASD. The Change Support Officer will assist in implementing change management support activities, ensuring smooth adoption and integration of new IT capabilities within the TDI team. This role emphasises collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing to support organisational change readiness. (LH-02281)

Role Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Support for Change Activities

  • Assist in implementing activities designed to enable successful change adoption in complex IT environments.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for change initiatives, ensuring all components align with broader project goals.

Change Communication

  • Develop and disseminate change-related communications to support user awareness and understanding.
  • Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all change communications channels.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in engaging with stakeholders to build awareness, understanding, and support for change initiatives.
  • Facilitate the involvement of Change Champions to foster collaboration and address resistance.

Knowledge Management

  • Support the codification of developed knowledge into training materials and documentation.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer processes are maintained for effective team integration.

Monitoring and Feedback

  • Monitor stakeholder feedback to identify and address concerns during the change process.
  • Collaborate with the project team to provide updates and recommendations for adjustments.

Administrative and Operational Support

  • Support the planning and execution of training, workshops, and engagement activities.
  • Assist in reporting on progress toward change readiness and operational metrics.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for creating effective change communications.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and support stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Familiarity with SFIA skills ICPM 3 and content management practices.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with NIC agencies and the intelligence production process.
  • Proven ability to support creative problem solving and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential criteria:

  • ICPM4 Applies organisational guidelines and uses appropriate tools and techniques to provide publishing interfaces to new or existing platforms and applications. Maintains and updates content management processes to meet the needs of users. Selects appropriate channels through which content should be published. Provides advice to users and content authors to leverage the features of the relevant channels and tools used. Identifies the legal implications associated with publishing.
  • Assist to implement the required activities to successfully enable change within a complex IT environment.
  • Develop change communications to enable users transition and acceptance of new IT capabilities.
  • Assist in engagement with a wide variety of diverse stakeholders with differing level of change maturity.
  • Collaborate and motivate Change Champions to ensure success of change activities.
  • Codification of developed knowledge to enable knowledge transfer to ASD contractors and employees.
