Audio Visual Specialist (PROJ-4228)
Job Description
Remote is seeking a Audio Visual Specialist with advanced skills in the design, implementation, integration, configuration, and documentation of resilient and scalable AV solutions to join the team at ASD. The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of current and emerging technologies and the business benefits they can provide. A deep understanding of industry and commercial standards is essential. Furthermore, the specialist will have experience with sustainment and BAU activities.
Role Description
Key duties and responsibilities
- Customer engagement for requirements gathering, solutionising, testing, and support
- Asset lifecycle management including solution development, procurement and disposal, implementation, integration, and configuration of all AV assets accommodating growth and reduction as required
- Solution security accreditation or authorisation activities
- Sustainment and management activities including patching, monitoring, maintaining currency, and continual improvement
- Configure, test, troubleshoot the solutions as appropriate
- Providing advice, guidance, and documentation to customers on AV solution operation
- Liaise with providers as required to ensure outcomes are met
- Support the audio visual setup and pack-down of live events such as all-staff meetings.
Technical skills
- Understanding of physical networks and patching
- Fault finding and validate VTC systems
- Experience working VTC systems across various capacities
