Job Description

Remote is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join the team in ASD. The role is within the Compartment Security (CS) team within Information Security Branch to provide effective delivery and sustainment of various Compartment Security initiatives and projects. The Service Delivery Manager is required to undertake a continuing critical review of Compartment Security’s (CS) systems and processes. They will identify and coordinate improvements to service delivery outcomes through process improvement, automation and integration. 

Role Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Indicative duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertake critical reviews of Compartment Security’s (CS) systems and processes, to identify and coordinate improvements to service delivery outcomes through process improvement, automation and integration.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of process and governance improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with business and WoG stakeholders to develop, implement and document strategic improvements for the provision of Compartment Security functions and services;
  • Define, develop, and maintain a set of artefacts for the implementation of Compartment Security program initiatives and process improvements that are aligned to service management policies and standards
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating and clarifying responsibilities, and addressing issues raised
  • Work with senior management, business representatives  and WoG stakeholders to smoothly transition new services into operation ensuring business objectives are met;

Job Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in implementing and transitioning change initiatives and programs that support the organisations strategic objectives.
  • Proven record of delivering quality outcomes that uplift the capacity and capability of teams while maintaining existing service delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and skills and proven ability that enables and supports continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with stakeholders of various backgrounds and seniority levels,
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

Desirable:

  • 3+ years Security Operations experience

Essential criteria

  • The candidate has demonstrated experience and ability in implementing and transitioning change initiatives and programs to provide effective process improvements to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • At least 5 years’ relevant Service Delivery management experience in delivering outcomes that support the organisations strategic objectives.

Desirable criteria

  • 3+ years Security Operations experience
