Job Description

Remote is seeking Systems Integrators to join the team in ASD. The Systems Integrators will take a leading role within a team in developing of software, integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) and Open-source software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment and ongoing sustainment of the capability. The role will need intermediate to advanced systems integration skills and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel.

Role Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, engineering, deployment and maintenance of high availability, scalable and secure Linux and Kubernetes systems and services to meet programmatic and customer requirements.
  • Create infrastructure as code (IaC) services to deploy, secure and maintain virtual and physical Linux hosts and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Package, deploy and manage containerised applications on a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand new system capability requirements and identify the best way to deliver these.
  • Identify system inter-dependencies and liaise with other system stakeholders to support the development of integrated solutions.
  • Lead the integrated team using Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Document technical processes.

Candidates must have the following technical skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in Linux (RHEL 7+) and Kubernetes deployment, configuration management and security compliance.
  • Expertise in deploying or managing a data platform.
  • Proficiency in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tooling, including Ansible playbooks, roles and workflows.
  • Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead a team.

Candidates should have the following:

  • Five or more years experience in related roles.
  • Degree or other qualification in a related discipline.
  • Understanding of information assurance and system accreditation processes within TS environments.
  • Red hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)/Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Linux Foundation Certified Kubernetes Administrator or AWS Certifications are desirable.
